Minimum Qualifications NYS employee with one year or more of permanent or contingent-permanent competitive service as a Program Aide, G-13 or any current NYS employee with one year of permanent or contingent-permanent competitive service in a title allocated to G-11 or higher, and eligible for transfer to Program Aide under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate should have a broad range of administrative skills and experience including but not limited to, assisting with personnel, procurement and/or operational transactions. The candidate should be able to work independently, have excellent organizational skills, and possess excellent written and oral communication skills. The candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The candidate should have experience with: handling customer service issues; creating, working in and modifying access database tables and queries; excel spreadsheets.

Duties Description Work within the Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement to support the Prescription Monitoring Program Registry. Review and assist with projects involving data collection, preparation of written materials and reports, analysis of information, presentation of information and formulation of recommendations. Provide verbal and written communications to internal and external stakeholders. Track progress of multiple tasks and report to Bureau and Department of Health Executive Management as requested. Assist with administrative tasks, operational activities, and other Bureau tasks as needed.
