Salary RangeFrom $55494 to $70566 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be reachable on the appropriate Civil Service eligible list, or;
Candidates must have permanently served at least one year in a title designated as appropriate for transfer in accordance with 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
Duties Description Incumbent will handle ARD claims examining functions involving workers’ compensation, volunteer firefighter, volunteer ambulance worker, disability benefits, and discrimination claims. This includes screening cases referred to ARD, ensuring proper jurisdiction by ARD, requesting all necessary minutes and physical evidence, assigning proper triage and issue codes, properly routing cases, assisting the Associate Attorney in auditing and maintaining
the work queues of the Writers, screening incoming mail, filing and mailing all approved MODs, completing data capture, as well as other examining duties. As necessary the incumbent will perform special projects for ARD and provide technical guidance and assistance to other ARD staff.
