Permanent status as an Addictions Program Specialist 2, G-23 and interested in reassignment ~OR~ Reachable for permanent appointment on the current Civil Service eligible list for Addictions Program Specialist 2, G-23 ~OR~ Eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law

Duties Description This position will report to the Bureau Director of Adult Treatment Services or the Coordinator of Clinical Integration.
• Assist in the design, development, implementation and monitoring of projects towards creating clinical integrated networks.
• Research existing evidenced-based practices and promising practices with goal of bringing to NYS.
• Assist with the identification and training on/ dissemination of evidence based practices or promising practices that accomplish positive treatment success for patients and ensure that the SUD system is delivering quality services.
• Assist with the training and dissemination of information on expanding medication assisted treatment into all levels of care as well as withdrawal management services.
• Co-facilitate with the Bureau Director NYS OASAS’ Clinical Advisory Panel meetings.
• Provide support on special projects to potentially include: Centers for Treatment Innovation (COTI), OTP Lifting Capacity expansion, Integration of Peer Support Services in SUD treatment.
