Minimum Qualifications Permanent status as an Addictions Program Specialist 3, G-25 and interested in reassignment; OR reachable for permanent appointment on the current Civil Service eligible list for Addictions Program Specialist 3; or eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law (i.e., Addictions Program Specialist 2).

Duties Description This position will report to the Bureau Director of Adult Treatment Services. Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Responsible for leading the design, development, implementation and monitoring of coordination of care to include SUD, MH, medical and peer support services and creating clinical integrated networks across NYS.
• Serve as a programmatic lead in NYS’ efforts to expand the use of evidence based practices, medication assisted treatment, withdrawal management services and adoption of value based payments in relation to clinical services enhancements.
• Manage agency efforts and initiatives to clinically improve Crisis Services in NYS
• Oversight of development and monitoring of provider adoption and readiness for NYS’ Clinical Standards
• Design and clinically innovative practices and adoption strategies for working with providers around readiness, implementation, workforce re-alignment, and other challenges.
• Supervision of 3-4 staff
• Responsible for designing technical assistance protocols in growing clinically integrated networks.
