Minimum Qualifications
One year of permanent competitive service in a training position allocated to a salary grade 23 or eligible for a 52.6 transfer.

Duties Description
Supervise of Training Specialist 1’s and 2's across the state;

Assess and manage the training needs of OCFS staff.

Search for areas of collaboration of training resources within the Agency and with local districts and voluntary agencies

Conduc training as needed;

Supervise the development of curricula for various program areas, as needed;

Overall responsibility for the Supervisory Institute, the Paraprofessional Institute, Fundamentals in Supervisory Practice and other training programs offered by BTD;

Conduct and overseeing requests for performance consulting from Agency Divisions; acting as the liaison to the Governor's Office of Employee Relations, PEF and CSEA training units;

Tend to the on-going professional development needs of OCFS staff;

Coordinate the track and reporting of statewide mandated training;

Create and maintain a quality improvement protocol for BTD trainers, etc.
