Eligible for transfer under Section 70.1: Permanent competitive service as an Office Assistant 3, Office Assistant 3 (Calculations), Accountant Aide, Program Aide, Business Document Specialist 3, Keyboard Specialist 3, Legal Assistant 1, Payroll Examiner 1, Secretary 2. Also any language parenthetic for the above titles. Additional titles which qualify can be found on the Department of Civil Service website, http://www.cs.ny.gov/, search "GOT-IT."

Duties Description The incumbent of this position will serve as the Department’s Health Benefits Administrator. Duties will be to assist employees, supervisors and Administrative Assistants with all health insurance paperwork, enrollment, and questions; have a working knowledge of all health insurance benefits and rules; and be the Department’s liaison with the NYS Department of Civil Service’s Employee Benefits Division. The incumbent of this position will also be assigned duties that may include, but not limited to, retirement registrations; using RedDot for putting postings on the website; maintaining the posting database and responses to vacancy postings; maintain the Internship portal; and creating various reports.
