Salary RangeFrom $47631 to $57697 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be reachable on the appropriate Civil Service eligible list or;
Candidates must have permanently served at least one year in a title designated as appropriate for transfer in accordance with Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law. Candidates who have not held a permanent keyboarding title will be required to pass a performance test.
Duties Description Open, review, sort and distribute incoming correspondence; prepare draft response, or direct to appropriate staff for response, follow up to ensure completion; prepare and/or update and review outgoing correspondence including policies, procedures, FAQ’s, training manuals and reports for format, clarity, compliance with policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate enclosures/attachments are included and deadlines met; Answer incoming calls on multiple phone lines and assist visitors, answering questions or directing to appropriate unit or person; Coordinate travel arrangements for staff, ensuring costs are within guidelines; prepare and timely submit travel vouchers to Finance Office; Arrange and facilitate meetings, teleconferences, videoconferences, webinars and staff training; Resolve day to day operational needs, coordinate workflow, transmitting instructions and information between all levels of staff; prepare agendas and documents for meetings, record and distribute minutes in a timely fashion; Order and maintain supplies and office equipment; Prepare purchase and justifications and maintain purchase records; Organize and maintain office filing system; design, revise and manage the use of forms, office procedures, scheduling spreadsheets, daily and monthly reports, and project status data, ensure all are kept up to date; Develop weekly, monthly and as requested reports; monitor and track completion of probation reports and performance evaluations. Maintain master evaluation list. Follow up with supervisors to ensure timely completion. Provide clerical assistance to supervisors in updating performance programs; Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills by communication with all staff including WCLJs, Sr. WCLJs, Conciliators, Operations and Executive staff; Complete special projects as requested by Operations staff; Manage and update the Resource Reservations calendar, Sr. Adjudication calendar; Assist with special projects and reports on an as needed basis. Act as a backup DAR operator on an as needed basis.
