Duties Description Under the direction of the Manager of Information Technology Services 1, SG-27 the Information Technology Specialist 4 (ITS 4), SG-25, will act as the Drupal Development Team Lead. This position provides technical leadership and day-to-day supervision of the team responsible for the developing, enhancing, and supporting Drupal-based digital products and services.

In addition to supervising and developing staff, the ITS4 will actively contribute to solution design, development, code review, troubleshooting, and delivery. This position will be working closely with product managers, engineers, designers, platform staff, and other technical teams to translate product and agency needs into secure, accessible, maintainable Drupal solutions.

Specific duties shall include but are not limited to:

•Provide day-to-day technical leadership, supervision, coaching, and development for Drupal engineers and developers.
•Participate directly in Drupal development, including module and theme development, configuration, integrations, APIs, and other custom functionality.
•Provide technical direction for Drupal implementations and ensure solutions follow established architecture, development, security, accessibility, and coding standards.
•Review code and technical designs, provide feedback to developers, and promote reusable patterns and consistent engineering practices.
•Work with product anagers and other team members to refine requirements, assess technical feasibility, estimate work, and translate product needs into technical solutions.
•Coordinate development activities across environments and support release planning, deployment, troubleshooting, and resolution of production issues.
•Identify technical risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improving performance, maintainability, developer experience, and platform reliability.
•Support the professional growth of team members through mentoring, knowledge sharing, cross-training, and assignment of increasingly complex technical work.

Minimum Qualifications Eligible for a transfer under Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law by having one year of permanent competitive service in an appropriate title.
