Duties Description The New York State Board of Elections (SBOE) is at the forefront of modernizing the electoral process in New York State. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Senior Salesforce Service and Experience Cloud User Experience Specialist. This role will lead efforts to enhance user experience within the Public Campaign Finance (PCF) System through Salesforce Service and Experience Cloud platforms.
Responsibilities:
Lead initiatives to optimize user experience within the Public Campaign Finance (PCF) System utilizing Salesforce Service and Experience Cloud platforms.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand user needs and preferences, translating them into effective user interface designs and workflows.
Design and implement intuitive and user-friendly interfaces within Salesforce Service and Experience Cloud environments to streamline user interactions and workflows.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to continuously iterate and improve the user experience.
Customize and configure Salesforce Service and Experience Cloud functionalities to meet specific user requirements and business objectives.
Work closely with Project Managers to ensure project schedules and deadlines are met, addressing any potential issues or risks proactively.
Participate in vendor evaluation and selection processes, providing expertise on user experience requirements and capabilities.
Lead or participate in project governance meetings and activities related to user experience design and implementation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce Service and Experience Cloud functionalities with other systems and platforms as needed.
Develop training materials and conduct training sessions to empower users to effectively utilize the enhanced PCF System interfaces.
Generate reports and presentations for project stakeholders, highlighting the impact of user experience enhancements on system usability and efficiency.
Oversee subordinate staff and contractors involved in Salesforce Service and Experience Cloud user experience design and implementation.
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Salesforce Service and Experience Cloud user experience within the Public Campaign Finance program.
Coordinate with the SBOE Infrastructure team and vendors to ensure seamless integration and operation of Salesforce Service and Experience Cloud environments.
Work with the SBOE Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to ensure adherence to security procedures and regulations within Salesforce Service and Experience Cloud environments.
Participate in software architecture review and change control processes to align user experience enhancements with overall system design.
Collaborate with SBOE executive management and PCF program management on the development of relevant public-facing presence, ensuring consistency with Salesforce Service and Experience Cloud user experience standards.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree plus four (4) years of relevant experience.
Substitutions:
Four years of specialized experience or associate degree and two years of specialized experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree. J.D. or master’s degree may substitute for one year of specialized experience. Ph.D. may substitute for two years of specialized experience
