Duties Description Oversee IT hardware, software, and data center operations, ensuring 24/7 availability, maintenance, and strategic alignment with CIO goals. Manages Assistant Directors, allocates resources, and leads planning, budgeting, and governance efforts. Provides leadership in supervision, staff development, and vendor negotiations. Ensures effective communication, policy adherence, and continuous improvement across all operational and administrative functions.

Minimum Qualifications You must be reachable on the appropriate eligible list for this title or be eligible for transfer under Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.

Transfers
To be eligible for a 52.6 transfer, you must have one year of permanent service in a qualifying transferable title allocated to a SG-64 or above.

Appointments via transfer must not result in a second, consecutive transfer with an advancement of more than two S-grades or one M-grade.
