Duties Description Under the direction of senior administrative team staff, the incumbent of this position would be assigned to the Administration Unit to assist with procurement, reporting and administrative duties.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Provide administrative support for the Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) Administration Unit.
• Provide verbal and written communications to internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and state contractors to support the OCM.
• Assist with the management of contracts, procurement, and other operational transactions.
• Assist with generating reports, conducting research, and collecting data.
• Work with the Executive office to implement any changes to workflow, policies, and procedures, etc.
• Assist with purchasing of goods and services for the office.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications Current New York State employee with one year or more of qualifying permanent service in a position allocated to a Grade 11 or above and eligible for transfer under Section 70.1of the Civil Service Law.
NOTE: IN ORDER TO AWARD THE PROPER CREDIT FOR WORK EXPERIENCE, RESUMES MUST INCLUDE MONTH AND YEAR FOR START AND END DATES. IF ANY OF THIS EXPERIENCE IS LESS THAN FULL TIME YOU MUST INDICATE THE AVERAGE NUMBER OF HOURS WORKED PER WEEK.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Travel may be required (approximately 5%), including during evenings and weekends, depending on mission and assignment. Possession and maintenance of a valid Driver’s License issued by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles is required, or otherwise demonstrate the capacity to meet the transportation needs of the job.
