Duties Description Food preparation for all or a portion of patient meals in accordance with production tallies and following standardized recipes. Oversee FSW 2s and FSW 1s to ensure that all parts of the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Plan are followed, including proper food storage, cooking, and serving temperatures, as well as safe food handling techniques. Ensure that all meals prepared are safe, palatable, and nutritional. Participation in quality management activities concerning food quality and satisfaction. Supervisory and food preparation documentation, including performance evaluations of subordinate employees and HACCP compliance documents. Required to perform additional duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications Candidates must have three years of experience in large-scale cooking.
Preferred Qualifications: One year of supervisory experience in institutional kitchen/food service operation.
Competent in Meditech and Computrition.
Strong knowledge of HACCP procedures/safe food handling.
Additional Comments One permanent full-time, non-competitive, appointment.
