Duties Description Under supervision of the Superfund and Brownfield Cleanup Program, performs the following duties; scans and uploads current and historical files into the Department database;organizes and archives hard copies of documents at the Programs storage areas.
This position will be responsible for a very high work output level as there is a large volume of Program's documents, spills and inspection reports, and related correspondence that have not been e-archived. The implementation of the tasks requires proficiency in scanning, punctuality, reliability, diligence, and self-organization.
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or possession of a high school equivalency diploma or an USAFI GED certificate (high school level) OR a satisfactory combination of education and/or experience assisting in engineering or related work, at the rate of six months of experience for one year of high school.
Additional Comments This is a hourly appointment currently funded through 3/31/2026, with a likelihood of continuing beyond that date. Program needs and funding will determine actual termination date.
Must be able to lift and move objects up to 15 pounds.
