Duties Description The New York State Department of Labor (NYS DOL) is seeking a Summer Intern for their Office of Special Investigations (OSI) Division.
This internship offers a unique opportunity for a qualified candidate to be assigned one main project to complete within the cross match unit involving policy manual section updates, and additional projects as needed to include:
-Updating policy, training and procedure manuals, completing monthly "staff highlights" for the OSI intranet page project, and assist with adding documents, and complete smaller limited cross matches.
Expectations are that under direction of a supervisor and Project Coordinator, inter will work independently to complete tasks utilizing Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other DOL systems and have ability to write professional. Intern will be expected to adhere to UI confidentiality at all times.
OSI Intern will have an opportunity to learn and gain valuable experience relating to Criminal Justice, Government Civil Enforcement and Fraud Prevention (relating to the banking industry.)
