Salary RangeFrom $51857 to $63169 Annually
Minimum Qualifications **NY HELPS: Three years of experience performing clerical, keyboarding, or paraprofessional work in an office environment. Permanent Transfer Candidates:
Current New York State employee with one year of permanent or contingent-permanent service as an Administrative Aide (G-13), Agency Program Aide (G-13) or Program Aide (G-13); or one year of permanent or contingent-permanent service in a title allocated to G-11 or above eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
**Only paraprofessional titles in an office environment will be considered qualifying. Service in a direct care title is not qualifying experience. Examples of non-qualifying titles are: Developmental Disabilities Secure Care Treatment Aide 1; Direct Support Assistant; Food Service Worker 1; Licensed Practical Nurse; Mental Health Therapy Aide; and Security Services Assistant.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong verbal communication skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, good organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to work independently, experience with the Statewide Financial System, strong computer skills.
Duties Description Process board orders, provide administrative support, fiscal support and reporting for the Board for Professional Medical Conduct, maintain Board members activity tracking system, process board appointments and reappointments, liaison regarding board administration as necessary, provide administrative support to the Director of Administration, coordinate and schedule any meetings or activities of the board, including making arrangements, taking minutes, and writing corresponding memos, other duties and tasks as required.
Additional Comments For new State employees appointed to graded positions, the annual salary is the hiring rate (beginning of the Salary Range) of the position. Promotion salaries are calculated by the NYS Office of the State Comptroller in accordance with NYS Civil Service Law, OSC Payroll rules and regulations and negotiated union contracts.
