70.1 TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS: One year of contingent permanent or permanent competitive service in an appropriate title (list is not all inclusive) such as: Office Assistant 1, Office Assistant 1 (Spanish Language), Office Assistant 1 (Stores/Mail), Office Assistant 1 (Keyboarding), Payroll Assistant Trainee, Pharmacy Aide, Senior Medical Records Clerk, Senior Office Machine Operator, Treatment Unit Clerk Trainee.
Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES: Office Assistant 1 employees perform a wide variety of clerical activities involving the processing and maintaining of records, documents and information in support of an agency program or operation. The duties include but are not limited to the following: maintaining records and files; receiving, screening, reviewing and verifying documents; searching for and compiling information and data; answering questions about the activities of the organization orally or by correspondence; and preparing and/or issuing documents.
