Duties Description Laborers assist in the overall operation and maintenance of the lands of New York State under the jurisdiction of the Regulating District and with the maintenance of vehicles, equipment, and grounds.
Primary duties: assists in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of reservoir lands and related facilities; performs facilities and grounds maintenance, including mowing, and maintenance and repair of buildings; assists in vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair.
Minimum Qualifications Minimum of a high school diploma and experience in maintenance, grounds work, or construction is required. Applicant must be able to operate and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment. Experience in heavy equipment operation and boat operation is preferred.
Applicants must be physically able to perform moderate to heavy physical labor and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
A valid NYS driver's license is required.
Additional Comments Seasonal position duration is up to 26 weeks.
