Duties Description This position will be in the Division of Fiscal Management. Duties include general office tasks such as filing; copying; scanning; answering phones and providing phone backup; responding to emails/questions; maintaining files; opening and distributing mail; processing outgoing mail; formatting letters for processing; working on special projects as needed, in addition to the following: send out purchase orders and contract documents; managing shared mailboxes; update contract database; review, post, track and follow up on budget errors; maintain multi-function machines; Filled Position Reports (Salary and Hourly); This position will also provide support to the Revenue and Expenditures bureaus.
Assist and provide backup to the Administrative Assistant with tasks such as maintaining Division Director’s signature folders; scheduling interviews; scheduling/setting up meetings; maintaining Journal Voucher log/mailbox; responding to laptop and projector requests; maintaining Records Management records/spreadsheet.
Minimum Qualifications There are no minimum education or experience requirements for
this title.
Preferred: Familiar with using a computer and Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel.
Additional Comments This is a hourly appointment currently funded through 3/31/2027, with a likelihood of continuing beyond that date. Program needs and funding will determine actual termination date.
Must be able to lift and move objects up to 30 pounds.
Telecommuting may be available, will be discussed at interview.
