Duties Description The Office of Justice Research and Performance (OJRP) is seeking student assistants to help support two units. The handling of these tasks will help the students gain professional skills while assisting OJRP with special projects.

The Student Assistants will assist with duties including, but not limited to:

• Assist with routine facilitation of the collection of agency key performance indicators.
• Prepare summary reports which may include evaluation and/or identification of data trends.
• Prepare charts, tables, and graphics.
• Prepare various documents for performance program activities.
• Assist with the production and review of routine probation reports and ad hoc data requests.

Minimum Qualifications Must be a current student enrolled in a matriculating degree program and have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year college or university.

Preferred Qualifications: Minimum standing of Sophomore (2nd year) undergraduate status, or Master’s degree status. Doctoral students are encouraged to apply. The preferred candidate would possess:

• Excellent written communication, research and writing skills, attention to detail
• Experience with MS Office products and Excel
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience with statistical analysis software
