Duties Description As an intern in the Bronx Career Center, you will be part of a team of NYS DOL staff present in the resource room within the center to assist customers with their resume, with completion of Online job applications, and with other various customer needs. Career Center Intern will gain knowledge about many NYS DOL programs and services and provide assistance to customers with Labor Online Services and platforms. Candidate will create workshops and develop meaningful relationships with community partners.

Minimum Qualifications • Minimum 30 credit hours (EQ 1 Year of University) completed, verified by transcript
• Current, good academic standing (Minimum 2.0 GPA)
• Continuing (under/grad) academics during the upcoming Spring 2026 semester.

Preferred Skill Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Great communication
- Smart Phone Tech Savvy i.e. Online app
- Experience with creating presentations

Preferred Degree Concentration/Major:
- Liberal Arts
- Social Work

Additional Comments Preferred minimum education level: Sophomore
Preferred maximum education level: Graduate Student
