Duties Description ITS provides operational support to state agencies on a 24x7x365 basis. Some positions may be required to provide this critical service at any time.

Under the direction of the Manager Information Technology Services 1 within the Dedicated Support division, Department of Heath Bureau, and Product Development section, the Senior .Net Developer will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of robust, scalable, and high-performing web applications. The incumbent will play a key role in application modernization and workflow automation initiatives, architecting and implementing full-stack solutions in Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record of leading and mentoring junior developers.
Duties include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, development, and delivery of end-to-end integrated solutions in Microsoft technologies.
• Architect, design, and implement full-stack solutions utilizing .NET technologies.
• Build robust, scalable, and high-performing web applications to meet applicable technical and security standards.
• Develop and optimize database structures and queries using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Collaborate with interface designers to integrate user interface designs into applications.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex application issues.
• Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and project managers.
• Participate in project planning and estimation activities.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for applications and systems.
• Develop system interfaces to non-web applications.
• Provide tiered technical support for developed applications.

Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in an IT field or equivalent experience/training.
• Minimum of one (1) year of IT experience in application development or maintenance.
• Minimum of three (3) years of full-time experience with .NET Framework 4.0 or above.
• Minimum of three (3) years of full-time experience with ASP.NET.
• Minimum of three (3) years of full-time experience with SQL Server.
• Minimum of six (6) months of full-time experience with MVC.
• Minimum of six (6) months of full-time experience with C#.
• Strong understanding of .NET technologies (C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework).
• Experience with JavaScript libraries.
• Experience with Visual Studio Application Platform.
• Experience with full-stack development.
• Experience with interface design integration.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Azure services (Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions).
• Experience with application modernization and workflow automation.
