Duties Description Under the direction of the Clerk of the Court, the Building Manager oversees maintaining the Court of Appeals building and grounds and courier service in the Court of Appeals. The Building Manager supervises and coordinates the twenty-four hours, seven days a week maintenance activity and performs other related duties.

Duties include but are not limited to: managing maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment; recommending, planning, and supervising changes to office space layouts, records storage, computer data storage, communications systems, and overall building additions, repairs, improvements and maintenance; installing, maintaining and upgrading computer and network wiring; supervising courier service to outlying chambers and other courts; determining work priorities; making staff assignments; and monitoring the progress of assignments; screening and hiring maintenance staff, training, supervising, and evaluating their performance; planning and coordinating routine and major masonry repairs, painting, carpentry, and renovation projects; developing equipment specifications and assisting in evaluating vendor proposals; and assisting Court in formulating purchasing policies and supervising purchase of general equipment, supplies, and replacement parts relating to building additions, improvements, repairs and maintenance.\

BASE SALARY: $130,061

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or the equivalent; and Eight years of work experience in building maintenance; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
