Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Graduate student currently enrolled in an accredited Law School.
Duties Description • Assist in the review and analysis of evidence and related law to determine whether there is a preponderance of relevant evidence to support a substantiated finding of abuse or neglect.
• Assist in the review and revision of internal documents involving the Justice Center statute.
• Format, draft and proofread legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and draft memos on policy issues impacting Case Closure operations as well as the agency overall.
• Must be able to set own priorities and manage all deadlines in accordance with required timeframes.
• Participate in various meetings and work groups representing Case Closure position and interests.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times (will receive confidentiality training as part of internship).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Comments Number of Hours: 20 – 30 up to full time during breaks.
