Salary RangeFrom $47530 to $58016 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Four years of full-time experience in a trade related to bridge repair, maintenance and construction under a skilled tradesperson which would provide training equivalent to that given in training, apprenticeship, or equivalent program; or an equivalent combination of experience and training gained by completion of technical courses in a bridge or technical trade at a school, institute, or a branch of the Armed Services.
When required to operate motor vehicles, candidates must possess a valid New York State driver’s license appropriate for the type of vehicle to be operated; candidates must be One-Person Plowing (OPP) certified to perform Snow & Ice Operations during the winter season.
Duties Description Duties will include, but not limited to: Trades Specialists (Bridge) perform skilled level work in several different trades in repair and maintenance of bridges including carpentry, welding, masonry, ironworking, steel fabricating and painting. May be called upon to lead crews in the field in the absence of Bridge Repair Supervisor
Additional Comments The starting salary for this position is $56530. This amount is comprised of the base salary of $47530 with an additional geographic pay differential of $9000, specific to this title and location.
