Job Specifics

Minimum Qualifications Must possess a license to practice medicine in New York State and completion of two years post-licensure medical experience.

Duties Description Review medical history/clarify information with patient. Examine patients by conducting physical exams/records results. Evaluates patient condition and makes diagnosis of patient problems. Discuss finding of examinations and tests with patients and recommends approaches to improving health and well-being. Administers treatments and prescribes medications. Conducts follow-up examinations and tests to determine patient conditions. Record patient information, diagnosis, prescriptions, treatments and patient response to treatment and medication. Conducts sick call by evaluating patients condition, determining restrictions of patient activities based on findings. Refer patients to medical specialists or other treatment providers, discuss patients with them, and assist in planning and implementing treatment or coordinates treatment based on their findings and recommendations.
