Job Specifics

Duties Description Independently diagnoses, treats, prescribes and provides general medical care and treatment services for assigned individuals. Provides clinical supervision and guidance to other medical providers; manage and supervises medical services for facility, unit or program.

Minimum Qualifications Promotion: one year of service as a Clinical Physician 1, and possession of a license and current registration to practice medicine in New York State

Open-Competitive: possession of license and current registration t practice medicine in New York state AND two years of post-licensure medical experience.

Note: Postgraduate training that is required to obtain full licensure would not be counted towards post-licensure medical experience.
