Job Specifics
Duties Description Prepare daily and weekly leave reports (sick, injury, PPL, modified duty, military, extended leave).
Maintain and track all leave types, including accruals, military leave, and annual leave schedules.
Respond to and prepare leave-related correspondence, including for the Troop Commander.
Manage LATS: support users, troubleshoot issues, ensure timely timesheet submission.
Notify HR of excess leave accruals; process military leave requests.
Maintain leave donation records and tickler files for follow-up actions.
Reassign/transfer personnel; prepare retirement plots.
Submit overtime reports to Payroll and First Sergeant.
Generate monthly Pers. 29s and 30s; monitor accrual changes for transfers/unit changes.
Purge files per NYSP guidelines; complete tasks as assigned by First Sergeant.
Minimum Qualifications One year in a Salary Grade 6 position or higher,
OR
High School Diploma and one year of experience in an administrative support role, which includes use of office software (e.g., email, word processing), provision of customer service, business writing, and/or management of an office.
Minimum qualifications must be met by the closing date of the posting.
