Job Specifics

Duties Description Assembly member is looking for a sharp, dynamic, and committed Legislative Director to lead the Assembly member’s policy and legislative agenda in Albany and beyond.
The Legislative Director will be the chief architect of legislative strategy, working closely with the Assembly member to turn community needs and priorities into real action. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role ideal for someone who loves public policy, strategic thinking, and community-driven leadership.

Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, Government, or a related field (Master’s or JD preferred but not required).
• 2–4 years of legislative, policy, or government experience (State Legislature, Congress, advocacy organization, or government office preferred).

Additional Comments • Albany, NY Full-time, with occasional travel to the 68th District in East Harlem
