Minimum Qualifications • Must be licensed and currently registered to practice nursing in New York State
• AND have one year of post RN licensure clinical nursing experience.
• OR
• Must be currently permanent in a title eligible for a 70.1 transfer
Duties Description PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
The incumbent will provide mandatory training for Brooklyn/Region 5 and 6
• Plan, coordinate and conduct AMAP and health related trainings for Brooklyn and NYC/Long Island staff as needed.
• Provide AMAP recertification courses as needed.
• Track OMR 811 completion.
• Assist Nursing staff with Remediation of AMAP staff when needed.
• Attain certification as a CPR instructor in a nationally accredited agency.
• Participate as a member of the Traineeship Council and / or other DDSOO committees.
• Oversee progression of DSATs by reviewing evaluation reports.
• NEO instructor.
• Ensure Adherence to the Code of Conduct/Competencies.
• Oversee SLMS data entry to ensure compliance.
• Conduct supervisory training.
• Assist staff in completion of mandatory online trainings as requested.
• Assist in the delivery of PRAISE training.
• Inform and assist employees with available educational and training opportunities.
• Maintains records/rosters of all training activities.
• Support Voluntary Agencies through DDRO as needed
