Salary RangeFrom $163381 to $191631 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Must have a license to practice medicine in New York State: must also be eligible for full and unconditional participation in the Medicaid and Medicare programs; must have M.D., M.B.B.S. or D.O. degree; and have completed one year of post graduate training acceptable to the Liaison Committee on Graduate Medical Education of the American Medical Association (or as listed in the Directory of Approved Residency Training Programs), and have had two years of subsequent medical experience.
Duties Description Review medical history/clarify information with patient. Examine patients by conducting physical exams, record results. Evaluates patient condition and makes diagnosis with patients and recommends approaches to improving medications. Conduct follow up examinations and tests to determine patient conditions. Record patient information, diagnosis, prescriptions, treatments and patient response to treatment and medication. Conduct sick call by evaluating patient condition, determining restrictions of patient activity based on findings, refer patient to medical specialists or other treatment providers, discusses patients with them and assists in planning and implementing treatment or coordinates treatment based on their findings and recommendations.
Additional Comments Salary includes a $20,000 geographic pay differential.
