Minimum Qualifications Must meet ALL three qualifications: This position will require you to take and pass a Civil Service examination in the future to maintain employment.
1. at least five years of experience in a manufacturing process or trade of which one year must have been directly related to the specialty of wood products manufacturing.
AND 2. must have three years of supervisory experience which may have been included in the five years above in #1, or may have been gained in some other type of experience.
AND 3. must be a high school graduate or have a high school equivalency diploma issued by a recognized state educational authority or a USAFI GED high school certificate.
Candidate can be appointed to an Industrial Training Supervisor 1/SG-13 if they meet the minimum qualifications of:
Minimum qualifications for taking the open-competitive examination: must meet ALL three of the following minimum qualifications:
1. three years in a manufacturing experience.
AND 2. one year of supervisory experience.
AND 3. be a high school graduate or have a high school equivalency diploma issued by a recognized state educational authority or a USAFI GED high school certificate.
Duties Description Oversee the production operation conducted at a correctional facility. Direct manufacture of wood products and be involved with methods and costs of production. An important part of these jobs is training and supervising inmates in the manufacturing process.
Additional Comments $1513.00 per year location pay.
