Salary RangeFrom $30031 to $37150 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Permanent service as an Office Assistant 1 (Keyboarding), SG-6; or reachable for appointment from the existing eligible list OR one year of permanent competitive service in a keyboarding or clerical title, SG-4 or higher and otherwise eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
Candidates who have not already passed a keyboarding performance test will need to do so, if selected.
Preferred Qualifications: Good communication skills; attention for detail; and be willing to work in a team environment.
Duties Description These positions will be responsible for the data entry and maintenance of the New York State Domestic Incident Reporting (DIR) repository. Primary duties include prepping and scanning reports; reviewing reports for accuracy; and communicating with submitting agencies regarding delinquent submissions and data quality.
Additional Comments Appointment is subject to Division of Budget waiver approval.
