Minimum Qualifications
CURRENT STATE EMPLOYEES:
New York State employee with one year or more of permanent, contingent-permanent or 55b/c service as an Office Assistant 1; OR current New York State employee with one year or more of permanent, contingent-permanent or 55b/c service in a position allocated to a Salary Grade 6 or above and eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

GENERAL PUBLIC AND STATE EMPLOYEES:

Duties Description The incumbent will perform a wide range of duties in support of the Division of Human Resources Management. Specific duties will include, but not be limited to: track and log probation reports; code incoming canvass letters as well as print canvasses from HR Resumes or via facsimile; review, monitor and transmit resumes through the HR Resume mailbox; log and file closed recruitment files; log closed recruitments into an Excel spreadsheet and transmit to appropriate Unions; data entry into ELMS, HCM, and HRIS; and prepare print shop requests for mailings; mail canvass letters.
