Duties Description SUNY Delhi invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in English and Communications for the School of Liberal Arts & Sciences beginning fall 2018. Teaching duties consist of a 4/4 teaching load, including two sections of composition each semester. Other teaching duties will include communications courses, with additional opportunities to offer humanities courses, introductory literature courses, and/or courses in the college's growing Honors Program as needed. We are especially interested in applicants who have expertise in areas such as professional/technical writing, service-learning, Writing Across the Curriculum, and/or assessment. While the majority of English and Communications courses are offered to fulfill General Education Requirements to students from a wide range of programs and backgrounds, the college is interested in developing new courses and degree offerings in areas like professional writing and communication, as well as on-line course development and instruction for ENGL 100 and ENGL 200 courses.
