Minimum Qualifications A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university, or one recognized by the New York State Education Department as following acceptable education practices.

*Successful completion of a Spanish Language Proficiency Exam at a level 3, the highest level of achievement, will be required prior to appointment.


Duties Description As a Labor Services Representative, you would assist customers and provide a broad range of services to jobseekers and employers both on an individual basis and through group presentations. You would interview customers to evaluate the nature of services desired, obtaining a complete work history including job experience, education, skills, salary ranges and job preferences. You would identify barriers to employment and develop solutions to these barriers. You would provide information on resources available through the Department of Labor.

Position specific job duties may include occasional altered work schedule or job assignments which require availability and willingness to work occasional evenings and or out-stationed assignments.
