Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related field; Master's Degree preferred
Five years of progressively responsible leadership experience in marketing and communications
Experience mentoring and supervising a team of marketing and communications professionals
Demonstrated leadership in creating, implementing and evaluating a multi-year, institution-wide marketing and communications plan
Extensive writing and editing experience with a variety of print and on-line communications
Preference will be given to those with higher education experience
Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, and be willing to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends
Duties Description SUNY Delhi seeks an experienced and energetic professional with a combined skill set of marketing and brand strategy, integrated communications and creative direction to join the Office of College Relations and Advancement. The Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Communications is responsible for overseeing integrated communications, branding and strategic marketing efforts for the college to ensure maximum visibility for the college, promote its reputation, and create a positive climate for philanthropy and college advancement.
