Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be reachable for appointment on the current NYS Civil Service eligible list or a current New York State employee eligible to transfer under Section 52.6 or Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
Duties Description PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Support the OPWDD central office connection to service providers and regional offices through technical assistance and communication.
• Create spreadsheets tracking a variety of employment activities.
• Create and maintain Access databases for a variety of employment activities.
• Help to develop employment manuals, brochures, and other public relations documents in coordination with employment staff and communications department.
• Work closely with OPWDD Central Office employment staff and providers to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
• Assist Employment and Meaningful Activities staff to develop and implement effective performance measurements for employment and pre-employment services.
• Fulfill requests for materials such as completed manuals and guidance documents.
• Collect data from services providers as requested. Review data for completeness and request edits from providers as needed. Track, review and combine data to prepare for various reports.
• Review, approve and log in Requests to Bill for Services; SEMP Extended, ETP, Pathway.
• Maintain manuals and computer files with current regulations and administrative memoranda for the unit.
• Coordinate and participate in various provider meetings regarding services and changes, as needed.
• Update forms as requested.
• Run reports from OPWDD TABS/CHOICES or other software programs, as requested.
