Additionally, due to the extensive damage caused by Hurricane Sandy and the financial implications to the citizens of New York State, the Governor introduced an initiative to execute a New York State Disaster Recovery Action Plan. Part of the plan included a disaster recovery management tool, which was identified as MB3's EMGrants Pro system. This software application has the functionality to manage the end-to-end grant process from application to completion of work. The Project Coordinator will introduce technology to the support of new business processes, and more effectively coordinate the tracking and management of grant applications and funding associated with the disaster recovery program in New York State.
