Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Seven years of specialized experience working with New York State Department of Labor Unemployment Insurance employer registration processes and/or Department of Taxation and Finance business systems. Experience must also include knowledge of New York State Unemployment Insurance Law and procedures as well as other pertinent Federal law and knowledge of the United States Department of Labor requirements OR a bachelor’s degree and three years of specialized experience as described above.
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in the process and development of new modernization systems along with the analysis of business processes and workflows to ascertain business requirements and needs, and experience working and coordinating activities with other units, agencies and vendors.
Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES: As a Project Coordinator, you will manage the functions related to the implementation of the Unemployment Insurance Registration application and its related processes for the New York Business Express (NYBE) initiative. You will be responsible for creatively applying technical, facilitation and management skills throughout the project lifecycle; and will manage communication to all project stakeholders and participants. You will participate in regularly scheduled NYBE meetings and facilitate internal DOL UI meetings as required; gather DOL UI business comments and prepare final documentation for completion of all packages required; participate in testing, procedural development and training. You will prepare reports and compile statistical data identifying project logistics, information, adherence to timeline and project evaluation as needed; and perform other project coordination and management functions, as required.
