Minimum Qualifications Reachable on the Child Protective Services Specialist 3 Civil Service eligible list

Eligible for 70.1 transfer.

Duties Description Determine that all child abuse/maltreatment reports are accurate and are immediately assigned to the appropriate local district for investigation.
Managing the entire after normal business hour operation; this includes managerial coverage on the weekends.
Closely monitor call volume and staffing resources.
Assign staff to different functions or recalls of staff to come to work in order for the SCR to meet its legal mandates in both the hotline and the Service Center would also be this manager’s responsibility.
Supervise Child Protective Services Specialist 2’s, communicate performance expectations and monitor staff performance.
Understand and interpret data as necessary, effectively communicate with stakeholders verbally and in writing.
