Minimum Qualifications Five (5) years professional experience in Information Technology; At least three (3) years professional experience in assisting with design, development, implementation of production-level servers; At least three (3) years professional experience assisting with or conducting planning, developing, testing, and implementing of production-level servers; At least three (3) years experience in monitoring performance measurements and conducting performance tuning for production-level servers; Experience assisting with prioritizing goals, implementing programs, and allocating resources.

Preferred Qualifications:
Five (5) years professional experience in Information Technology managing a team with responsibility for systems analysis and application development activities operating with a great deal of independence. Demonstrated ability to develop and understand complex oral and written instructions and to read and understand technical literature.

Duties Description • Oversee change control over the New York – Health Exchange (NY-HX) configuration;
• Oversee the system performance tuning, improvements and balancing;
• Execute plans, construct and implement the technical aspects of the NY-HX;
• Define and implement the technical system environment to assure it meets the information processing needs of the NY-HX. This includes all the hardware, software and infrastructure components required to support the design, development and implementation of the Exchange;
• Assist with the acquisition, installation and operation of hardware and software;
• Act as technical contact with contractors in the absence of the Manager of Technical Architecture;
• Insure that the various functional components are properly integrated both within the Exchange environment, as well as with all necessary external organizations
