Minimum Qualifications One year of experience in environmental education programs; or one year of college study with specialization in natural science, natural resources, or environmental education. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license. Must be able to lift 40 pounds, be comfortable driving in NYC and speaking publicly to diverse audiences. Assist with fisheries surveys as necessary. Work outdoors, sometimes in inclement weather, and some weekend and night work required.
Duties Description Teach saltwater and freshwater fishing to people of all ages at public fishing clinics and to school students during field trips. Teach in-classroom aquatic-ecology related lessons to NYC public school students and assist in curriculum development.
