Minimum Qualifications Transfer Qualifications: Any permanent Office Assistant 2 (Keyboarding) OR
Any person eligible for 70.1 transfer.

Minimum Qualifications: On or before the date of the examination, the candidate must be a qualified employee of New York State and have had one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service as an office assistant, clerical, or keyboarding title allocated to Grade 5 or higher. Duties Description PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include, but not limited to:

• Work with Medical officers and assist with the processing necessary paperwork
• Reviewing and reconciling discrepancies with monthly invoices.
• Inventory and ordering of supplies and, equipment for Medical Supply
• Coordinates Quarterly Reviews
• Maintaining and reconciling forms and medication manifest
• Serve as a liaison with vendors and coordinates deliveries
• Resource for other staff and train staff
• Maintains a current manual in Medical Supply so that other staff can has clear direction on the necessary tasks in Medical Supply
• Ensure tasks and responsibilities are completed timely and in accordance to facility standards established.
• Ensuring timely delivery of medications, maintaining inventory and supply records, maintaining expiration dates of items and supplies.
• Assist the Medical Services by scanning and electronic filing of outside consultant providers or emergency room reports in electronic health record.
• Scheduling and assisting with Medication Cart Tracking.
• Extensive use of computers primarily for creating and maintaining spread sheets, and data base application, and word processing applications.
• All other duties as assigned.
