Salary RangeFrom $58722 to $72557 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Must be in title OR on the Civil Service eligible list for this location OR be eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 in a designated title determined by NYS Department of Civil Service OR be licensed and currently registered to practice nursing in New York State AND have one year of full-time post-RN licensure clinical nursing experience.
Duties Description - Manage NEO processing by ensuring employees have necessary vaccinations for employment per regulations and providing vaccinations, lab draws, and follow up as needed.
- Provide Employee Health Services and maintain employee health files.
- Review and evaluate Workers’ Compensation claims and accident report forms.
- Ensure adherence to Workers’ Compensation standards and policies.
- Manage employees on long-term leave by reviewing and evaluating claims and accident report forms; provide consultation to employees with Workers’ Compensation injury claims.
- Educate supervisors and current staff on Workers’ Compensation law and processes.
- Training related skills directly associated with Staff Development and Training.
- Provide and assess trending analysis.
- Promote the wellness and fitness of Western NY employees.
- Serve as a member of the Health & Safety Committee.
- Maintain Excel database of long-term and/or Workers’ Compensation leaves regarding employee and status.
Additional Comments Posted Hiring Salary includes the sum of the statutory rate for PS&T Grade 16 ($50,722) and Geographic Pay Differential ($8,000). Geographic Pay Differential is added to the job rate ($64,557) for the PS&T Grade 16. Additional Compensation may apply based on shift assignment.
