Duties Description The position will provide the support for the Division of Classification of Compensation. The incumbent of this position will be responsible for:

• Answering telephones, responding to emails, maintaining paper and electronic files, arranging meetings, and reserving rooms and equipment for the Division.

• Assisting staff in complying with Division and Department policies and procedures though proper notifications and reminders, and drafting and preparing final documents.

• Preparing classification standards in final form, sending them to appropriate recipients, collecting comments on classification standards, routing them to appropriate analysts, and following up to ensure that they are completed by due dates.

• Correcting classification and compensation transactions and scanning and attaching documents to transactions in the New York State Electronic Personnel System (NYSTEP).
