Minimum Qualifications Two years of experience in maintenance or mechanical work under the supervision of a skilled trades-worker or completion of an appropriate two-year technical school course.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with a wide range of computer software, familiarity with vehicle maintenance operations.

Duties Description Car Pool Management - Assign vehicles to staff per procedure, rotate vehicles to maximize utilization, schedule repairs and maintenance, enter mileage logs on a monthly basis.

Building Maintenance Coordination - Work with staff and building management to handle work requests and communicate with and oversee private contractors performing building maintenance.

MMS administration - Process work orders and update MMS facility, mechanical, and inventory database using Citrix software on a regular basis. May be required to occasionally perform field work on difficult terrain as part of MMS updates, and willing to work in adverse conditions.

Organize on-line vehicle maintenance calendar using software such as Sharepoint, Excel, Outlook, and other software.

Additional Comments Must have valid driver's license or demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation needs of the position. Must be able to negotiate difficult terrain, work in remote areas and in adverse weather conditions. Travel and overtime may be required. Must be available for emergency response. Must be available to respond to after-hours emergencies. Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds. Candidate must have a positive, professional, and courteous attitude, and be able to communicate effectively using phone, electronic media, and face to face.

This is a temporary position with a duration of 6/1/18 through 11/30/18.
