Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:

As a Labor Services Representative, you would assist customers and provide a broad range of services to jobseekers and employers both on an individual basis and through group presentations. You would interview customers to evaluate the nature of services desired, obtaining a complete work history including job experience, education, skills, salary ranges and job preferences. You would identify barriers to employment and develop solutions to these barriers. You would provide information on resources available through the Department of Labor; work on 599 program application backlog; review 599 applications for subject matter content, completion and accuracy within program segment of expertise and make appropriate determination; and respond to questions from other units, agencies or the public concerning the operation of the unit or program area.
