Minimum Qualifications PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate would be a certified LEAN Empire belt or close to completing the requirements to become a certified LEAN Empire belt and have
1. A bachelor’s degree* and one year experience in administering LEAN projects; OR
2. An associate’s degree with two years’ experience administering LEAN projects.
*From a regionally accredited college or university, or one recognized by the New York State Education Department as following acceptable education practices.
Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:
The LEAN Manager will have a solid understanding of organization and management principles, organizational structure and its goals; an aptitude for data collection and analysis; an ability to identify problems, analyze, diagnose and develop resolutions; and explore technology solutions. In serving in this role, the individual will be responsible for mapping processes in various program areas; recognizing steps that add value and those that do not; identifying improvements, developing counter measures to the identified problems, and creating plans to implement the changes along with a method to measure progress. In addition, the LEAN Manager will serve as a liaison between stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information; and will be responsible for working closely with Executive staff to implement, analyze and develop statistical reports on the results of LEAN projects.
