Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must be reachable for appointment on the current Professional Careers Opportunities (PCO) or Public Administration Traineeship Transition) PATT Civil Service eligible list;
OR
Be eligible for transfer pursuant to Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law by having at least one year of permanent service in a qualifying title within two salary grades of the grade 18 level;
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Classroom and/or training experience.
Duties Description PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and present standardized agency training courses for OPWDD employees, including courses that are part of New Employee Orientation (NEO)
• Provide instruction in generalized courses such as supervisory training, computer classes, and courses specifically designed to address unique agency needs and requirements
• Analyze and review training compliance reports to determine employee and department compliance with mandatory trainings, report findings; make recommendations
• Inform employees and program managers of available training and educational opportunities
• Assist employees with registering for training in SLMS and oversee data entry to ensure compliance
• Maintain records/rosters of training activities
• Provide assistance with videoconferences
Additional Comments Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.,
Pass Days: Saturday/Sunday
