Minimum Qualifications To be considered for permanent appointment, candidates must be reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list or be eligible for reassignment or transfer in accordance with Civil Service Law.
Duties Description Under the direction of the Office of Audit Director, the incumbent will provide support to the Office of Audit: Contract Audit Bureau, Internal Audit Bureau, Enterprise Risk Management Bureau, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Certification Unit. Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Assisting the Office and Bureau Directors in ensuring the operational needs of the Office are met;
• Providing support to the Bureaus, including information searches, conducting research and triage and processing of DBE related items;
• Distributing reports and drafting correspondence as appropriate;
• Regularly working with various automated systems relied on by the Office, including entering information, ensuring accuracy and completeness, running reports, monitoring of open items; and providing training;
• Act as liaison among Office and agency staff and the general public;
• Providing customer service for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Certification Unit, include support tickets for DBE Database;
• Serving as Personnel and Training Coordinator as well as Records Management Liaison;
• Updating and maintaining Office internet and IntraDOT pages;
• Establishing and maintaining Office procedures;
• Providing general administrative support such as managing travel requests, coordinating meetings, purchasing and maintaining Office procedures; and
• Performing other administrative or programmatic support activities as assigned.
• Working knowledge of Excel and database applications is strongly desired.
Responsibilities may include serving a role within the Incident Command System to support the department’s response to regional and statewide emergency services.
